What is a living trust?
A living trust is simply one that is created during the life time of the person who creates it. This is in contrast to a
testamentary trust which is one that is created in someone's will. Because a living trust is created during your own
life, it will also specify that you are the original beneficiary. As such, the living trust can accomplish much more
than a will because it can provide a vehicle for your own care during your life, as well as specifying how you wish to
distribute your estate at your death.
